Cranbourne Group
The Basketry Group is part of
The Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne. Link here to our page When: 10am - 2pm, 3rd Saturday of the month Where: FRBGC Elliot Centre Contact: Lynn Lochrie at basketry@rbgfriendscranbourne.org.au or ph 0437759610 for directions to the Elliot Centre. We usually work on our own projects, using Native Plants, with more experienced members sharing techniques, etc with newcomers. We bring our own lunch, a drop cloth and materials (no Myrtaceae Plants please). The group has only been reinstated a short while, after a couple of years being unable to meet due to the Myrtle Rust Virus. $3 subs each meeting goes towards Tea & Coffee and future workshops etc. Newcomers are most welcome to join our enthusiastic group! |
Pat Dale's South Gippsland Fibre and Basketry Group.
When: 4th Sunday of the month, 10.30 am to 3.00pm .
Dates and related workshops may vary throughout the year. Please email ahead. Where: Leongatha Community House Contact: patdaleathome@bigpond.com Pat Dale runs this lovely group in SW Gippsland. Members range from beginners to more experienced. The morning starts with a class, learning a technique or about various fibres, with time to continue class work or personal projects after lunch. BYO lunch. (or purchase from nearby cafe's)Tea, coffee provided. $20 per session covers room hire and tutor. |
